Judy Stafslien
Judy Stafslien is the Music Director for the La Crosse BoyChoir. Ms. Stafslien graduated from Viterbo University in 1976 with a B.M. degree in Piano Performance and Music Education with a choral emphasis.
Ms. Stafslien is currently the Coordinator for the Preparatory School of Arts at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin, as well as a piano instructor within that department. She is also a faculty member of Viterbo University’s music department, serving as a staff pianist and applied piano instructor. In addition, Ms. Stafslien is a member of the piano teaching staff at Reed Music Studios, where she currently teaches approximately 40 students.
Well known as a collaborative artist in the area, Ms. Stafslien has accompanied soloists and choral groups throughout the U.S. and Europe. Ms. Stafslien has served as a professional accompanist for the National Association of Teachers of Singing in Wisconsin, and worked in that capacity for singers entering the Metropolitan Opera District and Regional Auditions in Minneapolis and the Schubert Club Auditions in St. Paul. Ms. Stafslien is also a staff accompanist for the Classical Music Festival in Eisenstadt, Austria.
