Raymond Graybar, Music Director and Conductor
Raymond Graybar began his journey with the La Crosse Boychoir as a chorister. During his college years, he continued his involvement with the boychoir as an intern. In 2015, he was hired as a Dello Joio instructor and in 2018 he was promoted to Music Director and Conductor of the La Crosse Boychoir.
Mr. Graybar has extensive experience as a young peoples’ music teacher and director, including his position at Aquinas Catholic schools as the vocal director and music theatre director. He has also teaches private lessons in guitar and voice.
Mr. Graybar was a finalist in the Schubert Club Scholarship competition in 2017, among several other competitions and, he has taught and directed pieces to Viterbo University’s Concert Choir and has performed with its Concert Choir and 9th Street Singers.
Mr. Graybar earned a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance, with an emphasis in voice performance and vocal pedagogy, from Viterbo University. He also has completed coursework in early childhood development and special education.
