Step One: Everything You Need to Know
Read Everything You Need to Know to learn what we expect from all choristers. Make sure you are able to make a commitment to the La Crosse BoyChoir should you be accepted into the choir.
Step Two: Apply to Audition
Request an audition by clicking the button below and submitting the audition form.
What to Expect at the Audition
The audition lasts about 10 minutes and consists of vocalization to determine range and tone, singing a familiar song, and listening to simple music patterns or chords and singing them back.
There is no requirement for a prepared solo or piece of music and no previous music experience is required. We have designed the audition to demonstrate a boy’s ability and talent, not his prior training.
